Title Head Chef

As the Head Chef at our restaurant in Nagpur, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen team and overseeing all culinary operations. Your passion for food, creativity in menu development, and strong leadership skills will be essential in ensuring high-quality food production, kitchen efficiency, and adherence to health and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include creating innovative and cost-effective menus, supervising kitchen staff, maintaining quality control in taste and presentation, managing inventory and food costs, and upholding cleanliness and safety standards. Additionally, you will recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, collaborate with restaurant management for smooth operations, monitor budget and cost efficiency, coordinate with vendors and suppliers, and stay updated on industry trends. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, a culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience, strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations, team management skills, creativity in menu planning, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, financial acumen, and flexibility to work varied hours.
