Title Freight Forwarding

As a Manager in the Service Quality department at a Shipping/Logistics/Freight forwarding company based in Mumbai, your role will involve leading and implementing Service Quality and IT projects to achieve Service Excellence for the Western region of India. Your key responsibilities will include: - Guiding and supervising the International Operations (ILS) team in executing export/import operations, exceptional operational handling, technical training, and providing systems SME support - Providing business process technical support to achieve service excellence objectives To excel in this role, you are required to have: - A University Degree (Full time 5 to 8 yrs) with a preference for a Post Graduate Degree/Graduate or Engineering Bachelors - Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in the Logistics Industry/Shipping/Import/Export department with exposure to air/ocean transportation, logistics, 3PL, and working with a Supply chain service provider - Preferably exposure to Order Management/Buyers Consolidation process & systems and related forwarder ERP systems - Skills like possessing a Customer Service mindset, leadership qualities, self-motivation, ability to work with cross-functional teams, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technology savvy with experience in MS office and Logistics/Forwarding ERP systems, ability to work under pressure and flexible time schedules, developing long-term customer relationships, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential for this role. If you have exposure to Service Quality/process audit/operations excellence roles, it would be an added advantage. Your ability to coach and train associates, drive for results, deal with ambiguity, multi-task, and maintain a laser sharp-focus will be crucial.
