As an IP Expert, the individual will be responsible for the end-to-end management of network operations, ensuring the stability, efficiency, and performance of IP infrastructure. The role involves providing advanced technical consultation to internal teams and external customers, addressing complex network-related issues, and ensuring the timely resolution of technical queries and incidents.
You have:
- 6-10 years of experience with a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Must have a strong understanding of Protocols: TCP/IP,IPv4 & IPv6 addressing & IP subnetting, VLAN's, Ethernet, SNMP, management (Telnet, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, TACACS+)
- Proficiency in Designing, Implementing & Troubleshooting IP/MPLS Network core and services design, including L2 VPNs and L3 VPNs, Seamless MPLS, Segment Routing.
- Analyse and resolve network hardware and software connectivity issues.
- Network Tools analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault finding.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Knowledge & Hands-on experiences of protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP), signaling protocols (RSVP-TE, LDP).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, NRS-I, NRS-II) are a plus.
- Providing technical support for IP Core nodes (Analysis, Troubleshooting & fixing the issues reported) on already deployed to end customer/user.
- Provide technical operations support to the customer team, offer support, and facilitate competence development for local technical teams.
- Manages technical escalations for internal technical requests, emergency cases, and outages, as well as those directed towards customers.
- Support customers network performance and evolution & manage network SW and HW configuration information.
- Acts as the prime technical interface towards customers, subcontractors, and 3rd party suppliers, as well as internally towards several organizations.
- Liaise closely with Multiple teams to work on the operational faults and technical management to ensure the Network stability.
- Monitors and reports customers life network performance and acts to ensure the networks availability, including e.g., customer SLA fulfilment
- Ensure multiple network elements are connected and all functions are working well & handling the Critical and Emergency network.
