Job Description

The Time Officer position is based in Erode with a salary ranging from 25k to 30k. The ideal candidate should possess any degree along with experience as a security officer for a minimum of 5 to 10 years. As a Time Officer, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the security strategy, personnel, and systems within the steel plant. This includes ensuring the safety and protection of individuals, assets, materials, and information from both internal and external threats. You will be tasked with developing and implementing security policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and emergency response plans specifically tailored to the steel manufacturing environment. Additionally, you will oversee the security team, which involves activities such as hiring, training, supervising, and managing the performance of security guards and officers. Your role will also entail monitoring the entry and exit of employees, vehicles, contractors, and visitors, as well as closely observing material movements to prevent theft and unauthorized actions. Collaborating with stores and logistics departments to verify documentation and guarantee the secure dispatch and receipt of goods will be part of your daily tasks. Maintaining accurate records of security logs, visitor entries, and incident reports is crucial for this role.
