Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Air Ticketing Executive to manage our air ticketing department. 

Ticketing Agent Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end air ticketing operations
  • Monitor seat allotments, flight schedules and tariff updates
  • Negotiate contracted fares and optimize use of special fares/deals
  • Oversee ticket issuance, modifications, exchanges, refunds etc.
  • Manage agent debit memo reconciliation and billing
  • Prepare air ticket sales reports and revenue forecasts
  • Lead, train and motivate the air ticketing team
  • Handle customer complaints regarding air tickets
  • Stay updated on aviation industry trends and technologies


Ticketing Agent Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Air Ticketing Executive
  • Excellent knowledge of GDS systems – Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre etc.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Good leadership and communication abilities
  • Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as travel schedules demand.
