Ticketing Executive

Job Summary

The Ticketing Expert will be responsible for handling domestic and international air ticketing, fare quotations, bookings, reissues, cancellations, and refunds while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely customer service.

Key Responsibilities Ticketing & Reservations

• Handle domestic & international air ticket bookings
• Issue, reissue, cancel tickets and process refunds
• Check and apply correct fare rules, baggage rules, and penalties
• Coordinate with airlines and GDS systems for ticketing support

Customer Handling

• Manage ticketing enquiries via calls, emails, WhatsApp
• Provide accurate fare quotations and alternatives
• Resolve ticketing-related customer issues professionally
• Ensure timely delivery of e-tickets and invoices

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure passenger names match passport details
• Follow airline, IATA, and company SOPs
• Maintain proper ticketing records and documentation
• Update booking status in CRM / internal systems

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with sales and operations teams
• Maintain daily ticketing MIS and reports
• Assist in audit and reconciliation when required

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Air Ticketing (Domestic & International)
• Experience with GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre)
• Understanding of fare rules, reissue & refund policies
• Attention to detail and time management
• Good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma in Travel & Tourism preferred
• 1–4 years experience in air ticketing
• IATA/UFTAA certification (preferred, not mandatory)
