Job Overview

We are looking for a data-driven and creative Thumbnail & Title Optimizer to maximize click-through rate (CTR), impressions, and discoverability of our video content. This role sits at the intersection of design, copywriting, and analytics, and requires deep understanding of YouTube psychology, trends, and performance optimization.

You will be responsible for ensuring every video launches with high-performing thumbnails and compelling titles.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize YouTube thumbnails that drive high CTR

• Write and test video titles optimized for curiosity, clarity, and search

• A/B test thumbnails and titles to improve performance

• Analyze performance metrics (CTR, impressions, watch time)

• Work closely with editors, producers, and content teams

• Ensure thumbnails align with brand identity and content tone

• Track trends, competitor thumbnails, and platform changes

• Optimize metadata for better discoverability

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in YouTube optimization, design, or growth roles

• Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and viewer psychology

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar tools

• Strong copywriting skills for short, impactful titles

• Ability to make decisions based on data and performance metrics

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume content environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Gaming / Esports / Creator-led channels

• Proven history of improving CTR and video performance

• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and analytics dashboards

• Understanding of thumbnails for Shorts vs long-form content
