Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

ThingWorx Navigate Developer

to design, develop, and customize applications within the

ThingWorx

platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in

IoT application development, system integration, and UI/UX design

to enhance PLM data access and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

ThingWorx Navigate Customization:
Develop and tailor
ThingWorx Navigate
applications for seamless PLM data access and interaction with
Windchill
and other enterprise systems.
Application Development:
Design and build scalable
IoT applications
using
ThingWorx
, incorporating various IoT protocols and ensuring optimal performance.
System Integration:
Integrate
ThingWorx
applications with external systems such as
Windchill, ERP systems, databases,
and industrial devices using
REST APIs
and ThingWorx services.
User Interface Design:
Develop intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and
Mashups
in
ThingWorx
, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Customization & Data Management:
Implement custom logic, workflows, and extensions while managing data models for real-time processing.
Testing & Deployment:
Perform thorough testing, validation, and deployment of ThingWorx applications for reliability and scalability.
Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance.
Documentation:
Prepare technical documentation, including user guides, specifications, and deployment instructions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years
of ThingWorx development experience, including
1-2 years
working with
ThingWorx Navigate
.
Strong proficiency with
ThingWorx platform components
(Mashups, Thing Templates, Thing Services).
Experience integrating ThingWorx with
Windchill PLM, ERP, and enterprise systems
.
Hands-on experience with
JavaScript, Java, REST APIs, and SQL
.
Knowledge of
IoT protocols
(MQTT, OPC UA, REST) and industrial systems.
UI/UX design expertise for building responsive and intuitive interfaces in
ThingWorx Mashups and Navigate
.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
ThingWorx Flow
and
PTC Vuforia (AR/VR integration)
.
Familiarity with cloud environments (
AWS, Azure
).
IoT or
ThingWorx Navigate certification
is a plus.
