PTC Windchill Functional Analyst/Support Specialist Location: Remote Employment Mode: Full-Time Shift Timings: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST Overview Samay, on behalf of Champion Homes, a leading modular home manufacturer based out of Michigan, is seeking a Functional Analyst/Support Specialist to provide comprehensive support, system administration, and business analysis for their enterprise cloud PLM (Windchill+) systems. This role serves as the primary point of contact for system issues, user support, and business requirement analysis. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of PLM functionality and configuration, combined with excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users. Key Responsibilities Technical Support Provide expert Level 2/3 technical support Manage support ticket queue, prioritizing issues based on business impact and urgency Create and maintain detailed documentation of support processes, known issues, and resolution steps Coordinate with development team for issues requiring code-level intervention Support users across different time zones, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues System Administration Administer user access control, including user creation, license assignment, role configuration, and group management Configure and administer classification systems, attributes, and type hierarchies Manage and maintain data integrity through Master Data Management (MDM) processes User Enablement Conduct user training sessions on system functionality and best practices Provide one-on-one coaching for power users and new employees Create and maintain user guides, quick reference materials, and video tutorials Gather user feedback to identify training needs and system improvement opportunities Assist in user acceptance testing for new features and configurations Business Analysis (Preferred) Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements and configurations Translate user needs into functional specifications for development team Create detailed user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria Validate implemented solutions against business requirements Perform gap analysis between system capabilities and business needs Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams Create and maintain user documentation and standard operating procedures Required Skills & Qualifications Experience with enterprise application user support, access management, and license administration Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose complex system issues Excellent documentation skills for technical processes and user instructions Strong communication abilities to effectively interact with both technical and business teams Ability to work during US business hours covering Eastern time zones Proven experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis, preferred Show more Show less
