Role Overview: As a TGT (Social Science) in Lucknow, your main responsibility will be to effectively implement the CBSE curriculum by developing and implementing engaging lesson plans. You will also be required to create a positive classroom environment, assess student progress, foster student development, engage in professional development activities, and actively participate in school events and activities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. - Design engaging and interactive teaching materials to facilitate effective learning. - Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. - Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities. - Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress. - Provide constructive feedback on assignments and assessments. - Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance. - Foster intellectual, emotional, and social development of students. - Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills. - Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth. - Stay updated on the latest developments in your subject. - Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills. - Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources. - Actively participate in school events, committees, and extracurricular activities. - Support the school's vision and mission in all aspects of teaching and learning. Qualifications: - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Science, international studies, global affairs, or a related field. - B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
