• Teaching and Instruction:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the CBSE Sanskrit curriculum for classes VI to X.
• Use diverse teaching methods and materials to engage students and enhance their understanding of Sanskrit language and literature.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and update lesson plans, unit plans, and teaching resources in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
• Incorporate contemporary and traditional literary works, media, and technology to make lessons relevant and interesting.
• Student Assessment:
• Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, tests, and examinations to evaluate student performance.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in Sanskrit.
• Classroom Management:
• Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Implement and enforce classroom rules and procedures to ensure a respectful and productive learning environment.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Sanskrit literature, language studies, and teaching methodologies.
• Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and seminars.
• Use of Technology:
• Integrate technology into teaching to enhance the learning experience, using tools such as interactive whiteboards, educational software, and online resources.
• Encourage students to use digital tools for research, writing, and presentations.
• Student Support:
• Provide additional support to students who are struggling with Sanskrit language skills, including remedial classes or one-on-one tutoring.
• Encourage and mentor students who show a strong aptitude for Sanskrit literature and language.
• Extra-Curricular Activities:
• Organize and participate in Sanskrit-related extracurricular activities such as literary clubs, debate teams, and writing competitions.
• Encourage students to participate in regional, national, and international Sanskrit literary contests and events.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching Sanskrit.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress, attendance, and grades.
• Participate in school meetings, committees, and other school events as required.
• Mentorship and Guidance:
• Provide guidance and counseling to students regarding academic choices and career paths in Sanskrit and related fields.
• Help students develop critical thinking, analytical, and interpretative skills through the study of Sanskrit language and literature.
• Cultural Awareness and Appreciation:
• Promote an understanding and appreciation of Sanskrit culture, literature, and traditions.
• Encourage students to explore and appreciate the rich heritage of Sanskrit language and its contributions to Indian culture.
• Field Trips and Practical Learning:
• Organize and supervise field trips and other experiential learning activities to provide practical exposure to Sanskrit language and literature.
• Facilitate students’ exploration of literary festivals, cultural events, and interactions with Sanskrit scholars and poets.
• Translation and Interpretation:
• Teach students the skills of translation and interpretation from Sanskrit to other languages and vice versa.
• Encourage students to translate classical texts and explore their meanings in contemporary contexts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
