TGT MATHS TEACHER (IGCSE BOARD)

• Teaching & Curriculum Delivery
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons aligned with the ICSE curriculum for Classes 6–10.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
• Teach core mathematical concepts: arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, etc.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Assessment & Evaluation
• Design and conduct class tests, assignments, unit tests, and periodic assessments as per ICSE guidelines.
• Evaluate student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and report cards.
• Classroom Management
• Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Address individual learning needs and provide academic support to students who need extra help.
• Student Development
• Encourage mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Prepare students for school-level competitions, Olympiads, and the ICSE board examination.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, subject heads, and school administration.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding academic progress and classroom behavior.
• Administrative & Co-curricular Duties
• Maintain attendance and other records.
• Assist in school events, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Mathematics with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
(Preference for candidates with ICSE teaching experience)

• Experience:

Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed school (preferably ICSE board)

• Skills:
• Strong subject knowledge
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Technologically adept (experience with smart classrooms, online teaching tools)
• Classroom management
• Patience, adaptability, and empathy

Desirable:

• Familiarity with ICSE curriculum and examination patterns
• Experience in online/hybrid teaching
• Participation in professional development programs (e.g., ICSE workshops)
