Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Textile Engineer with expertise in Inventory Management, Factory Management, and Quality Management to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing production processes, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and implementing stringent quality standards to ensure operational efficiency and product excellence. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of textile manufacturing principles. In terms of Inventory Management, you will be optimizing warehouse storage and material handling processes to reduce costs, implementing inventory tracking systems to reduce waste, and prevent stockouts. You will also conduct periodic inventory audits, analyze trends to improve stock control, and coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to maintain an efficient supply chain. Additionally, you will oversee and manage raw material and finished goods inventory to ensure optimal stock levels. For Factory Management, you will supervise daily factory operations to ensure smooth production flow, ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labour regulations, and manage workforce allocation while providing training to enhance productivity. You will also monitor and optimize production schedules to meet deadlines, improve efficiency, and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to enhance factory performance. Regarding Quality Management, you will ensure compliance with industry quality standards, certifications, and regulations, develop and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high product standards, and conduct inspections and audits to identify defects and implement corrective actions. You will work closely with production teams to ensure adherence to customer specifications, analyze quality data to identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement. To qualify for this role, you should have proficiency in inventory management and ERP software, a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field, excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, strong communication skills for coordination across departments, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. You should also possess a strong knowledge of textile production processes, materials, and industry standards, along with 2-3 years of experience in Inventory Management, Factory Management, and Quality Management. Preferred qualifications include experience in sustainable textile production practices, certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Quality Assurance, and a Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management. Key Performance Indicators for this role include maintaining an inventory accuracy rate of 98%, ensuring production targets are met 95% on time, maintaining a product defect rate below 2%, minimizing unplanned downtime to 5%, achieving a 5-10% reduction in inventory holding and factory operational costs annually, and ensuring 100% compliance with industry and safety regulations. This is a full-time position with a fixed shift schedule and a yearly bonus. The work environment includes factory and office settings, with occasional travel to supplier and vendor locations required.
