About the Role:

Software Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze business requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
  
• Design, develop, and execute

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  for manual and automated testing.
• Perform

  functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify, document, and track bugs or issues using defect-tracking tools such as

  Jira

  ,

  Bugzilla

  , or

  Azure DevOps

  .
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of defects.
  
• Validate software fixes and perform re-testing after issues are resolved.
  
• Ensure the quality of web, mobile, and desktop applications across multiple environments.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree

  in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3-7 years

  of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of

  Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  and

  Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Experience in

  manual testing

  of web and mobile applications.
• Understanding of different testing types

  functional, regression, integration, usability, performance, and smoke testing.

• Familiarity with

  test management and defect tracking tools

  (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
