Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop

  automation frameworks

  using tools such as

  Selenium

  and

  TestNG

  .
• Write and maintain

  automation scripts

  using

  Java

  or

  Python

  .
• Perform

  API testing

  using tools like

  Postman, RestAssured,

  or

  Karate

  (BDD/Cucumber preferred).
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  and manage version control using

  Git

  .
• Execute

  SQL queries

  to validate data and perform backend testing.
• Conduct

  functional testing

  to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an

  Agile environment

  , contributing to sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Mentor and guide

  junior QA engineers

  , perform code and test script reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies in the test automation and AI-assisted testing space.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Selenium

  TestNG

  API testing frameworks

• Proficiency in

  Java

  Python

  for test automation.
• Working knowledge of

  SQL

  CI/CD pipelines
