Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer at Rightsline, your role will be crucial in ensuring quality and consistency in the technology-forward platform aimed at maximizing the value of intellectual property. You will work closely with the Quality and Experience team to design and implement automated test cases, execute and troubleshoot daily runs, and provide feedback on new features continuously. Your collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Customer teams will be essential in identifying and reporting issues, as well as contributing to product improvement ideas. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated test cases - Execute, review, and troubleshoot daily runs - Identify and report issues found by automation - Update automated tests based on new requirements - Design and execute test plans for new and existing features - Test and provide feedback on new features continuously - Thoroughly test resolved bug tickets in testing environments - Collaborate with teammates to investigate and verify issues proactively - Contribute to recurring scrum team events Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field with up to 3 years of automation experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Strong understanding of programming concepts and hands-on experience with at least one programming language (JS/TS, Python, Java) - At least 5 years of experience in Automation testing - Experience with Playwright + JS/TS, API testing, Performance/load testing (Jmeter/Bazemeter), and Cypress + JS/TS - Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing automated code solutions - Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Github Actions, AWS) - Ability to write clear, readable, and reusable test scripts - Strong sense of ownership and adaptability to changing priorities - Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies - Ability to perform functional, regression, smoke, performance/load, and exploratory testing - Effective communication skills via remote collaboration tools like Slack and Zoom At Rightsline, inclusiveness, purpose, and innovation are encouraged.
