Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  using

  Tricentis Tosca

  for SAP GUI and related applications.
• Build

  reusable and scalable test automation assets

  to support functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and QA leads to understand business processes and ensure comprehensive test coverage for SAP SD scenarios.
• Perform

  manual testing

  where automation is not feasible and ensure adherence to test standards.
• Optimize test design and execution to improve coverage and reduce testing cycles.
• Integrate Tosca automation suites with

  test management and defect tracking tools

  such as

  QTest

  and

  JIRA

  .
• Analyze test results, generate detailed test reports, and contribute to defect triage meetings.
• Support

  continuous improvement

  by enhancing automation strategies and frameworks across projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum

  5 years of overall testing experience

  , including

  2+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca automation.

• Strong expertise in

  Test Automation

  and

  Manual Testing

  methodologies.
• Solid functional knowledge of

  SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)

  module.
• Experience designing and executing automation for

  SAP GUI functional processes.

• Proficiency in

  Tosca Test Suite components

  such as TestCase Design, ExecutionLists, and Modules.
• Experience integrating

  Tosca with QTest, JIRA

  , or similar lifecycle management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to

  API automation

  or

  non-SAP application testing

  within Tosca.
• Experience working in

  Agile / DevOps environments

  with CI/CD integration.
• ISTQB or Tricentis Tosca certification.
