Test Automation Engineer - Vice President

Job Description

Key Skills: Core Java, Selenium, QA Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks for real-time transaction processing systems. Implement agile testing methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality deliveries. Maintain and optimize the automation suite in alignment with agile principles. Perform design, implementation, execution, and analysis of unit, integration, regression, resilience, and performance tests (both manual and automated). Take full ownership of the squad's quality assurance (QA) process. Develop and enhance automation frameworks using Java 17, Spring Boot, Cucumber, Mockito, JUnit 5, Lombok, and OpenAPI. Integrate test automation with components such as Oracle Databases, IBM MQ, Kafka, and APIs. Handle non-functional testing including load and performance testing. Contribute to QA planning and delivery of changes/packages as per requirements. Collaborate with functional experts to create end-to-end test scenarios and manage cross-functional testing. Present QA strategies and results in demo sessions. Analyze defects, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. Evaluate and assess the impact of new enhancements or change requests. Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD integration using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Artifactory. Engage actively in agile delivery as part of a cross-functional team. Drive quality and functionality improvements in the bank's payment platforms. Experience Requirements: 12+ years of IT industry experience, including automation testing, test framework development, and software QA. Strong hands-on experience in automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, LoadRunner, and JMeter. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, and VBScript. Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, SQL, and scripting. Familiarity with middleware technologies such as IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, JMS, and Kafka. Proven experience in using tools like Postman, JIRA, Confluence, HP ALM, Git, and Maven. Working knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes). Good understanding of MT/MX messaging standards and payment industry processes. Demonstrated ability to work in agile, multicultural, and distributed team environments. Strong problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Education: Any Post Graduation, 10th, 12th, Any Graduation.
