Test Analyst

As a Test Analyst at TVS Motor Company, you will be responsible for leading the ride, handling, and braking performance development of new products. Your role will involve testing, tuning, and developing various aspects such as vehicle layout, mass distribution, structural stiffness, suspension, tires, brakes, etc., to achieve best-in-class ride and handling performance. You will also be involved in competition benchmarking, target setting, and arriving at based on various factors like HOQ and customer studies for new products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading ride, handling, and braking performance development of new products - Testing, tuning, and developing vehicle layout, mass distribution, structural stiffness, suspension, tires, brakes, etc., to achieve best-in-class ride and handling performance - Conducting competition benchmarking and setting targets based on HOQ, customer studies, etc., for new products - Instrumentation, calibration, signal processing, and analysis for vehicle handling testing - Preparing reports and presentations on testing and vehicle handling development at various stages of the NPD cycle - Developing new testing concepts, test methodologies, and rigs for vehicle handling development - Establishing standards for testing and analysis, as well as updating existing standards based on new knowledge developed internally and externally - Developing, procuring, and commissioning equipment and instruments for competency improvements to meet future needs - Developing competencies, technologies, and innovations to enable continuous improvements in the field of vehicle dynamics Qualifications required for this role: - B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or Mechatronics In addition to the technical qualifications, you should possess functional competencies in product knowledge, product engineering & development, automotive and EV fundamentals (BEV), engineering drawing, and quality management basics. Behavioral competencies such as basic communication skills, working collaboratively with teams, interpersonal effectiveness, personal leadership, rigor in job completion, customer-centricity, and time management are essential for success in this role.
