The Territory Sales Manager will oversee and drive sales operations within a designated territory, with a focus on achieving B2B sales targets for furniture products . The role involves managing a team of sales executives, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure consistent territory growth. Role & responsibilities 1. Sales Management: Achieve sales targets and KPIs for the assigned territory through effective planning and execution. Identify and develop new business opportunities with B2B clients such as retailers, dealers, distributors, and government as well as corporate accounts. 2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the territory. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction. 3. Market Research and Strategy: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to develop strategies for territory growth. Provide insights and feedback to the management team to refine product offerings and marketing strategies. 4. Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring repeat business and loyalty. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients in alignment with company policies. 5. Reporting and Coordination: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales management team. Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations. 6. Travel and Territory Coverage: Regularly visit clients and prospects within the assigned territory to establish a strong market presence. Organize and conduct sales presentations, meetings, and product demonstrations. 7. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales executives within the territory. Provide training, mentoring, and performance monitoring to ensure the team meets individual and group sales goals. Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and align on targets. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the furniture or retail industry. Prior experience in GEM portal working would be preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
