Territory Manager Self employment program

Objective of the position

The incumbent will lead the implementation of a self- employment program for persons with disability in a cluster Major Deliverables

• Collaborate with disability advocacy organizations and support groups to reach potential candidates.

• Assess the skills, abilities, and interests of individuals with disabilities to determine their suitability for self-employment.

• Provide guidance on business concept development, planning, and feasibility.

• Organize and facilitate training sessions on entrepreneurship, financial management, marketing, and other relevant topics.

• Connect with financial institutions for credit linkages to the beneficiaries

• Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to participants as they launch and grow their businesses.

• Address challenges and offer solutions for business sustainability.

• Establish connections with local businesses, chambers of commerce, and other community organizations to create opportunities for participants.

• Forge partnerships that can provide support, resources, or customers for participants' businesses.

• Track the progress and success of participants' self-employment ventures.

• Collect and analyse data to measure program impact and make improvements as needed.

• Advocate for the inclusion and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in the business community.

• Raise awareness about disability entrepreneurship and promote the achievements of program participants.

• Maintain accurate records of participant interactions, milestones, and outcomes.

• Facilitate partnerships with stakeholders including financial institutions, CSR organizations, training organizations, and government line departments for achieving program objectives.

• Prepare reports for program funders, stakeholders, and management. • Share success stories of program participants to inspire others and garner support for the program.

• Monitoring of team for executing the tasks within given project timelines and achieving programme outcomes.
