Job Description

Role Overview: As a Territory Sales Manager in the Mass Retail sector at Airtel, you play a crucial role in driving sales and providing end-to-end customer service in your assigned territory. Your responsibilities include increasing market share, revenue, executing the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, and fostering strong business relationships with channel partners to enhance business in the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) mass retail segment. Key Responsibilities: - Drive revenue growth by focusing on new and existing channel partners to expand the company's footprint within the territory. - Optimize the sales and distribution network to enhance market penetration. - Strengthen the distribution ecosystem through increased Below-The-Line (BTL) activities, effective coverage, and transacting outlets. - Ensure brand visibility through organized go-to-market merchandising activities to achieve tertiary recharge sales and gross prepaid targets. - Implement processes to enhance overall customer experience, satisfaction, and issue resolution. - Ensure compliance with policies and processes by channel partners, and meet customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs). - Manage and expand channel/distributor network through incentives and seamless grievance redressal. - Form partnerships, train partners on product features and sales techniques, and negotiate agreements to ensure mutually beneficial terms and conditions. - Lead the territory team, update their knowledge base, and coordinate with mass retail Zonal/Area managers of sales and service. - Own and manage strong people connections at all levels across the organization and collaborate with central functions to ensure alignment with company policies. Qualification Required: - Education Qualification: Full-time graduate degree, MBA/PGDM (optional) - Total Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the Telecom/FMCG industry - Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in sales and marketing techniques, basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook),
