Job Description

You will play a crucial role in fostering a more connected and compassionate world. **Role Overview:** As a Sales Professional at Medtronic, your responsibilities will include: - Promoting and selling Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets. - Developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders such as distributors and healthcare professionals. - Pursuing leads, assessing needs, and providing product services to maximize benefits derived from Medtronic's products and services. - Establishing education about the company's products and services. - Conducting market research, including monitoring customers and competitors" activities. - Implementing market development plans/strategies and making changes as necessary. - Communicating customer feedback on new products or modifications to existing products to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations, and Marketing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services to meet or exceed sales targets. - Develop and strengthen relationships with stakeholders. - Assess needs and provide product services to maximize benefits. - Conduct market research and implement market development plans. - Communicate customer feedback to internal stakeholders. **Qualifications Required:** - Practical knowledge of sales techniques and job area obtained through experience. - Baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. - Working knowledge of company products and services. - For Sri Lanka: GCE Advanced Level and a minimum of 7 years of work experience in the healthcare industry, or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field. **About Medtronic:** Medtronic is a global healthcare technology leader that addresses the most challenging health issues facing humanity.
