Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining JL Morison India Ltd. as a full-time Territory Sales Manager/ASM based in Nagpur. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing area sales strategies, executing annual sales plans, and focusing on market share, customers, channels, product categories, and people development. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute area sales strategies in alignment with the company's overall strategy - Achieve consistent target achievement for specific brands and categories - Enhance brand coverage and presence in the market - Drive channel development and people development initiatives - Manage sales operations effectively, including accurate sales forecasting, budgeting, and target achievement - Implement sales plans, set goals, and manage targets on a monthly basis - Monitor and analyze secondary sales data to ensure alignment with primary targets - Appoint and develop distributors based on specific criteria - Implement trade schemes and promotional activities as per the plan - Build and motivate the sales team, conduct performance reviews, and manage productivity - Ensure process compliance and drive automation tools like SFA and Bizom - Manage customer relationships and handle returns effectively - Utilize business intelligence and analytics for informed decision-making - Implement sales processes, distribution policies, and customer credit policies - Collaborate with commercial and SCM teams effectively Qualifications: - Possess 5 to 10 years of traditional trade sales experience - Have independently managed area sales operations in the FMCG industry for 3 to 4 years - Demonstrate a track record of channel development and sales growth - Familiarity with trade marketing strategies and strong financial acumen - Proficient in data-oriented decision-making - Experience with sales process automation tools is desirable - Strong sales management and communication skills - Excellent customer service and training abilities - Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to cultivate and sustain customer relationships - Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills - Prior experience in the FMCG industry is advantageous - Hold a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field,
