Position Overview

Tender Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities (RFP/RFQ/EOI) across government, PSU, and private sector clients.
  • Manage complete tender lifecycle from opportunity identification to bid submission and post-bid follow-ups.
  • Prepare and submit technical, commercial, and compliance documents within timelines.
  • Develop bid strategies, win themes, and competitive positioning in coordination with management.
  • Coordinate with technical, finance, legal, and operations teams for bid preparation.
  • Handle GeM, CPP, and state e-procurement portal activities including registrations, uploads, and compliance.
  • Manage pre-bid queries, post-bid clarifications, and tender negotiations where applicable.
  • Coordinate with finance for EMD submission, PBG issuance, and refunds.
  • Review tender conditions, contracts, and identify risks and deviations.
  • Maintain tender documentation repository, templates, and version control.
  • Conduct post-bid analysis and prepare reports on win/loss ratio and bid performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Tender win rate and awarded contract value
  • Bid pipeline value and conversion ratio
  • Compliance accuracy and zero-error submissions
  • Timeliness of submissions and clarification responses
  • Improvement in GeM ratings and procurement compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in tender management, preferably in drone services, construction, or technology-driven sectors.
  • Strong understanding of government and private procurement processes, including GeM, CPP. and other state/central e-tendering portals.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, bid management tools, and familiarity with drone-based survey solutions.

Desired Skills

  • In-depth experience with GeM and e-procurement portals.
  • Sound knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes, tender documentation, and contract management.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Good understanding of government procurement policies, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
