Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tender Executive to handle the complete tendering process for IT infrastructure, CCTV, surveillance, and data center projects. The role is based in Chennai and requires a strong understanding of government and corporate bidding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

-Monitor government and private tender portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, eProcurement).

-Evaluate eligibility criteria, scope of work, and bid feasibility.

--Define bid strategy in coordination with sales, technical, legal, and finance teams.

- Decide on go/no-go for tenders based on commercial and technical viability.

- Oversee preparation and submission of technical & commercial proposals.

- Ensure compliance with all RFP/RFQ requirements and deadlines.

- Validate documentation, including authorizations, certifications, and financials.

-Liaise with internal departments and external OEMs/vendors for inputs and approvals.

- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with bid deliverables and timelines.

- Review and approve costing sheets, margins, and final pricing.

- Ensure pricing aligns with company policies and market benchmarks.

- Identify and mitigate risks in the tender terms & conditions.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and client-specific requirements.

- Represent the company in pre-bid meetings and clarification sessions.

- Communicate client queries and changes to internal teams.

-Ensure timely online/offline bid submission.

- Track bid status, handle post-submission queries, and negotiate if required.

- Maintain records of tenders submitted, won/lost, reasons for loss, and win ratios.

- Share regular bid status reports with management.

- Supervise and guide the tendering team.

- Ensure skill development and performance tracking.
