Job description for Tender Manager / Executive Candidates only preferred from MUMBAI LOCATION. Key Responsibilities: This is a full-time on-site role for a Tender Executive - Gem Portal Specialist located in Mumbai. The role involves managing a range of tasks related to government e-marketplace (GeM) portals, including tender research, document preparation, bid submission, and customer follow-up, analysing tender documents, communicating with potential clients, providing customer service, and supporting sales activities. Tender Management: Responsible for applying and submitting government tenders both online (GeM portal) and offline, ensuring adherence to all deadlines. • GeM Portal Expertise: Manage and maintain product listings on the GeM portal, ensure up-to-date information, and respond to queries related to product registrations and specifications. • Bid Preparation: Prepare comprehensive and well-organized technical, financial, and commercial proposals for tenders. • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all tender submissions comply with the specified terms, conditions, and requirements, mitigating risks for the company. • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage the documentation required for the bidding process, ensuring all mandatory documents are included and up-to-date. • Market Research: Continuously monitor government portals, including GeM, for new tender opportunities, and identify relevant tenders in line with the company’s capabilities. • Negotiation Support: Support senior management in tender negotiations by providing insights and details from the tender documentation and process. Skills and Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in tender management, with proven expertise in the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. • Tender Knowledge: Strong understanding of the complete tendering process, including documentation, bidding, compliance, and proposal preparation. • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks while ensuring complete accuracy and compliance with tender specifications. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage queries and correspond with clients, government bodies, and stakeholders. • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines • Customer Service experience to ensure a high level of client satisfaction • Sales skills to support in closing tenders and securing contracts • Research skills for identifying and exploring new tender opportunities • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently • Familiarity with the GeM portal and tendering process is a plus Show more Show less
