Job Description

Location:

  • Sales Strategy:

    Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for optical components & related requirements, including managing tender submissions and driving repeat business.
  • Market Analysis:

    Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the optical components sector.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Tender Management:

    Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders for PSU and private organizations, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Marketing Campaigns:

    Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote optical components and enhance brand visibility, leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with product development and engineering teams to align product offerings with market demands and customer needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing, specifically in the optical components industry or related technology sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing tender processes and securing repeat business.
  • Strong understanding of the optical components market, including customer requirements and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively across departments.
