Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and persuasive Tele Sales Executive with a pharmaceutical background to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge in pharma products and excellent communication skills to promote and sell to medical stores, clinics, or distributors over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation: Reaching out to potential customers (inbound or outbound calls) to generate sales leads and identify their needs.
  • Sales pitch delivery: Creating and delivering persuasive sales pitches highlighting the value and benefits of the product/service.
  • Meeting sales targets: Consistently striving to achieve and exceed predetermined sales targets and quotas.
  • Customer relationship management: Building and maintaining positive relationships with both existing and potential customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Handling inquiries and objections: Addressing customer questions, concerns, and objections effectively and professionally to guide them towards a purchase decision.
  • Order processing and record keeping: Accurately processing orders, maintaining detailed records of calls, customer interactions, and sales activities using CRM software or other systems.
  • Market research & trend awareness: Staying informed about product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities to tailor sales approaches effectively.
  • Collaboration: Working effectively with other sales team members and departments (e.g., marketing, customer service) to optimise sales strategies and deliver excellent customer experience.

  • Active listening skills to understand customer needs and concerns.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience and persistence in handling rejection.
  • Product knowledge – deep understanding of the products/services being sold.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant technology (e.g., telephone systems).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Problem-solving skills to address customer issues.
