Department: Sales & Marketing Industry: Retail Location: Kathawada Reports To: Telesales Manager / Sales Supervisor Job Summary: We are looking for a persuasive and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our retail sales team. In this role, you will contact potential and existing customers by telephone to sell products, offer promotions, and provide information about our services. You must be able to handle rejections, work under pressure, and close sales effectively. Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to customers to promote and sell retail products or services. Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. Respond to customer inquiries, handle objections, and resolve issues professionally. Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, social media, or customer referrals. Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, call volume, and conversion KPIs. Record all sales calls, customer feedback, and order details in CRM software. Keep up to date with product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and company policies. Coordinate with logistics, finance, and after-sales teams to ensure smooth order processing. Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude on every call. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree is a plus. Minimum 1 year of experience in telesales, telemarketing, or inside sales, preferably in the retail sector. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high call volumes and work in a target-driven environment. Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer skills. Strong persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills. Preferred Skills: Multilingual communication skills are a plus. Knowledge of the retail industry and consumer behavior. Experience selling consumer products like electronics, apparel, FMCG, or home goods.
