Job Description

  • It is required that the Telephone operator responds to the caller within three rings.
  • Provide right information to the caller and guide them to the exact desired department/extension.
  • Make record of the daily inquires and submit the daily & monthly report to the Head of Department.
  • Make note of the messages and pass on the concern department.
  • Assist callers with appointment numbers or connect them to the appointment desk
  • Provide Directory Assistance to internal and external callers.
  • Awareness of all Emergency codes and the protocols.
  • In case of any internal emergency act as a support in passing on information to concern authority internal or external.
  • Every six monthly update the internal extension list and circulate within the organization.
  • Checking the Intercom lines and telephone Instruments and escalation of repairs to IT department.
