Tele Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct telephonic and virtual counseling sessions with prospective students, current students, and

parents regarding educational programs, courses, and admissions procedures.

• Assist students in exploring educational options that align with their academic interests, career goals,

and personal strengths.

• Provide information about curriculum, course requirements, prerequisites, and extracurricular

activities offered by the institution.

• Address inquiries related to admissions criteria, application deadlines, financial aid options,

scholarships, and tuition fees.

• Guide students through the application and enrollment process, ensuring all required documentation

is complete and accurate.

• Offer career counseling and advice on potential career paths based on academic achievements and

interests.

• Collaborate with academic advisors, faculty members, and administrative staff to resolve student

issues and concerns.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in handling sensitive student information.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Counselor or Adviser in the education sector, preferably with telephonic

counseling experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Any Field.

• Strong understanding of educational programs, admissions processes, and career development

resources.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to empathize with students and parents while providing objective guidance.

• Proficiency in using teleconferencing and online counseling platforms.

• Knowledge of student information systems or CRM software is a plus.

• Familiarity with educational trends, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a counseling role specifically within an educational institution.

• Additional certifications or training in college counseling or career advising.

• Multilingual proficiency is advantageous, especially if dealing with diverse student populations
