Job Description

Join our dynamic team to innovate and refine technology operations, impacting the core of business services. As a Technology Support Lead at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Fixed Income Production Management Team, you will utilize creative and critical thinking skills along with problem-solving abilities to maintain and continuously enhance global application systems crucial to the firm's daily operations. Your role will involve deep diving into front office flow related application issues, utilizing technical skills mainly in Python and DevOps to build or enhance software solutions for improving the support experience for business users. This position requires hands-on technical expertise, including programming skills or process automation capabilities. You will be responsible for providing application support to front office users by addressing queries and resolving any issues encountered with the applications. Additionally, you will analyze and troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Monitoring systems for issues, responding promptly to incidents, diagnosing and resolving technical problems to minimize downtime, and identifying opportunities to improve system performance are key aspects of your role. Designing system automation, building helpers, and tools to reduce manual efforts in application support will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with regional and global stakeholders and peers to achieve common goals is essential. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Minimum 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services - At least 10 years of working experience in a financial institution in front/middle office application support - Basic understanding of production incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and related follow-ups - Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority, including developers, business users (including traders), and global production management teams - Strong development and debugging skills, with the ability to debug production issues by analyzing application code in Python - Quick thinker, problem solver, and fast learner with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated, self-organizing, and possess drive, with the ability to be hands-on and a team player Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Hands-on experience with Python - Practical knowledge of AWS/cloud services - Good understanding of Macro or Equities business concepts related to front office trading, risk, pricing, and booking - Experience in software development using DevOps methods would be advantageous.,
