Technology Support Lead

Role Overview: As a Technology Support Lead at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank's Fixed Income Production Management Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and continuously improving global application systems that are essential to the daily operations of the firm. You will use your creative and critical thinking skills, along with problem-solving abilities, to address front office flow related application issues and enhance software solutions to optimize support for business users. This hands-on position requires a level of programming skills, particularly in Python and DevOps. Key Responsibilities: - Provide application support to front office users, addressing queries and resolving any issues encountered with the applications. - Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence. - Monitor systems for issues, respond to incidents promptly, diagnose and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime. - Identify opportunities to improve system performance and implement optimizations. - Design system automation, build helpers, and tools to reduce manual effort in application support. - Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders and peers to achieve common goals. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services. - At least 10 years of experience in a financial institution as front/middle office application support. - Basic knowledge of production incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and related follow-ups. - Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority, including developers, business users (including traders), and global production management teams. - Proficiency in debugging production issues by analyzing application code in Python. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, self-motivation, organizational skills, and a team-player attitude.
