Job Description

Key Responsibilities Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and maintain forward-looking technology roadmaps for connected car platforms, including infotainment, telematics, and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication systems. Trend Prioritization: Identify, assess, and integrate key trends such as connected services, OTA updates, telematics advancements, and smart mobility features into the product pipeline. Future-Tech Integration: Plan and evaluate the adoption of AI, voice assistants, AR, and IoT technologies for enhanced in-car experience. Consumer Insight Discovery: Uncover latent user needs and identify future-forward technology solutions to address them. Mobility Trend Analysis: Deep dive into emerging mobility themes like HMI, autonomous driving, connected experiences, and xEV technologies. Scenario Planning: Drive business case development for new tech proposals, including preparing strategy reports and executive-level presentations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with Marketing, Engineering, Costing teams, and international (Japanese) stakeholders to align on technology proposals and integration. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all planned tech solutions comply with cybersecurity, privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262). Regulatory Awareness: Stay abreast of global policies and regulations impacting 5G, data sharing, and autonomous vehicle technologies. Technical & Business Knowledge Understanding of macroeconomic factors affecting the passenger car market Familiarity with model development processes and timeline structures Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies Capability to evaluate product features from cost-performance-value perspectives Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience in financial and portfolio analysis related to OEMs Behavioral Competencies Excellent presentation and communication skills Self-driven, result-oriented, and always eager to learn Organized, motivated, and effective in cross-functional settings Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (CFT) Stakeholder management across all organizational levels Basic Knowledge Areas Emerging trends in product features, body types, and vehicle technologies Vehicle segmentation understanding and consumer behavior mapping Use of data analytics to translate user voice into actionable technical parameters
