Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices (DVR/NVR). Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on CCTV equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment or wiring to restore proper function. Test system functionality and ensure optimal performance. Maintain documentation of installations, service reports, and system configurations. Work with clients to understand their surveillance needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and technical standards. Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed. Integrate CCTV systems with access control and alarm systems if required. Stay updated on the latest CCTV technologies and industry best practices. Qualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in electronics, telecommunications, or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of analog and IP-based CCTV systems. Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, routers, switches). CCTV Installation Certificate CompTIA Network+ Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua, Axis) Work Environment:Work may be performed indoors or outdoors. May require working in confined spaces or at heights (ladders, rooftops). Some travel may be required to client sites.
