Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at our company located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, you will be responsible for creating documentation for software and technical products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and developing a wide range of software-related information products, such as guides, tutorials, web-based help systems, and specifications. - Creating clear, concise, and user-oriented documentation tailored to different audiences. - Researching, writing, proofreading, editing, and potentially translating end-user manuals and online help. - Designing screenshots and illustrations using graphic tools like Microsoft Visio. - Assisting in the design and maintenance of documentation templates and contributing to the development of team tools. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Experience in creating documentation for software or technical products. - Familiarity with content management and authoring tools, such as MadCap Flare. - Understanding of XML, HTML, and standard documentation formats. - Ability to create clear, high-quality visuals using tools like Microsoft Visio. - Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. - Understanding of usability and user experience (UX) principles in documentation. - Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. - A proactive approach with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
