Technical Writer

Role Overview: As an experienced Technical Writer at Honeywell Thermal Solutions, your main responsibility will be to create and edit various technical documents such as procedure manuals, user guides, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related publications. Your goal is to effectively communicate technical specifications and instructions to diverse audiences. You will gain expertise by interacting with product developers, observing production methods, and referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. Additionally, you will oversee the production of illustrative materials and recommend appropriate formats to meet technical and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Create and edit technical documents including procedure manuals, user guides, programming manuals, service manuals, and operational specifications. - Convey technical specifications and instructions clearly and effectively to diverse audiences. - Gain subject matter expertise by interacting with product developers, observing production methods, and referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. - Oversee the production of illustrative materials and recommend appropriate formats to meet technical and customer requirements. - Participate in the design, redesign, and development of applications, systems, and customer-facing software services. - Develop innovative web applications and implement efficient database applications. - Gather information on the capabilities of Honeywell products and work through all phases of customer interaction. - Advise and train internal and external stakeholders on technical products and services. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Technical Writing, Communication, Engineering, or a related discipline. - Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role. - Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail. - Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. - Familiarity with technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals. - Experience in designing web applications and implementing database applications would be an advantage. - Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.,
