About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with over 10 years of expertise to join our dynamic team at ACL Digital. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for our software products. This includes creating user guides, API documentation, installation manuals, and release notes to ensure our clients and internal teams have clear, accurate, and accessible information. The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation suitable for diverse audiences. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes, APIs, and cloud technologies, along with exceptional communication skills to simplify intricate technical details for non-technical users.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in technical writing or related fields.
- Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Confluence, Markdown, and DITA.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, APIs, and cloud computing concepts.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and product managers.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and maintain comprehensive user guides, API documentation, installation manuals, and release notes for various software products.
- Create and update online help systems, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to support end-users and internal teams.
- Collaborate with product development teams to understand new features and technical updates, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
