Technical Writer

What youll do:

• Develop a keen understanding of the product to be able to appropriately communicate the value of the product, feature, or service to internal and external stakeholders

• Collaborate with product and technical teams to understand the product and come up with engaging writeups for existing and new features

• Assist the product management team with in-application walkthroughs that follow the user guides and best practices

• Develop a strong and consistent messaging style

• Own and maintain the knowledge bank and support content repository. Periodically audit content to ensure they are in line with current feature functionalities

Who you are:

• 3-5 years of experience in the high-tech industry as a content writer or similar position

• Bachelors degree/Masters degree in English, communications, linguistics, creative writing, journalism, Engineering, or a related field

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail

• Fluency in written US English

• Ability to understand and communicate your concept to global audiences

• Proficiency in working with AI language models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and others to enhance content creation and editing.

• Understanding of the business environment and keeping track of emerging business trends

• Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS)

• Bonus - Instructional Design Experience
