Job Description

Your future duties and responsibilities

Write/review release notes for resolved defects, database changes and new enhancements.
Write/review documentation for new enhancements or changes to the application. Format/review updates to existing guides/new guides. Update RoboHelp Projects. Ensure guides meet all accessibility guidelines. Generate PDF files. Use JIRA to review release notes and task assignments. Use automation and CGI approved Artificial Intelligence to improve documentation and create efficiencies in the Documentation Role.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must-Have Skills
Technical Skills Proven experience working in a technical writing position. Experience using Microsoft Word to format documentation. Experience in MS Office 365 Word and Excel. Functional Skills Strong analytical skills to understand and write functional documentation for new enhancements. Excellent grammatical skills, which will be used in all aspects of this role. Ability to review and format functional and technical documentation. Ability to work in a non-conventional environment with virtual CGI teams spanning time zones across the U.S. and India. Independent and self-motivated with the desire and work ethic to thrive and excel in this geographically distributed teamwork environment. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to work synergistically with members from multiple teams and cultures. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with Adobe RoboHelp Experience in using Macros in Microsoft Excel Experience with JIRA Experience with GitLab/GitHub Technical Writing Course completion
