About The Role
We are looking for a
Technical Trainer
ideally based in our central offices. For the right candidate we would also consider other major cities in Australia and New Zealand. Employee development is a key business focus within CTM and as such requires a knowledgeable and committed Learning and Development team to support the development of key skills within the business.
The Technical Trainer
role is critical to ensuring that new consulting staff are provided with a strong foundational understanding of the consultant role and to communicate and update employees on the tech products to all parts of the business. This role largely focuses on the delivery and on-going improvement of key technical training targeted at Operations, Client Value Managers and Business Analysis and Solutions Managers.The successful candidate will have a great knowledge of all processes, procedures and systems within CTM or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge, based on their extensive training experience to-date.Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are essential in this role along with a strong operational and technical understanding.
This role is covering Maternity Leave therefore it is a 12 month fixed term contract.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in systems administration, Product Support and developing client solutions, excellent Tramada, OBT and technical systems skills or has the ability to quickly learn the required technical knowledge in order to deliver the training
- Extensive knowledge of travel online booking tools, functionality, systems, and business processes
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt and articulate to diverse users groups
- Proven ability to quickly create rapport with key customers (internal/external)
- Ability to consider ‘change management’ principles- you’ll need to know who to consult with and when to succeed
- Previous experience in the travel industry is highly regarded
- A working knowledge of ‘Tramada, Amadeus’ and/or ‘Sabre’ is highly desired
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer and service focus commitment
- Working knowledge of Adult Learning concepts and proven ability in running workshops and information sessions
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment would be advantageous
