Technical Team Leader

Schneider Electric's Digital Buildings Business delivers Intelligent Building Management Solutions (BMS) designed to create productive and comfortable environments for occupants, reduce energy consumption, and optimize building operations. This position is with the System Integration Department and Global Sustain Team. The System Integration Department is an R&D function responsible for Continuous Integration Testing and System Testing of new technology, software, and services before their release to customers. It operates state-of-the-art laboratories in Andover, US, and Lund, Sweden. The Global Sustain team, also part of R&D, serves as the Level four support entry point for complex customer site issues, stepping in when country organization support and Global Product Support face challenges. The team primarily interacts with customers through Global Product Support but also engages directly with global VIP customers. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in leading teams in R&D. 5+ years of extensive field-based experience with intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) from any manufacturer. Experience with open protocols (BACnet, LON, Modbus, Zigbee, TCP/IP, MQTT) is preferred. Knowledge of Windows-based PC hardware/software and networking technology is preferred. Knowledge of embedded/Linux systems (both HW and SW) is preferred. Extensive experience servicing, maintaining, commissioning, or application design for Building Management Systems. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a similar discipline, or extensive experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, or application design for Building Management Systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Fluent in English
