Position Summary:

The Verifone Helpdesk Technical Support Representative supports users with troubleshooting Verifone products, software, and services through a unique blend of customer focus and technical expertise and responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting customer requests and issues via phone, chat, and email in Hindi and English language at on-site call center environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in Hindi and English.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing clear guidance and solutions.
  • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures using established procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
  • Operates under moderate supervision.
  • Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Document customer interactions and solutions in the company’s support system.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, company policies, and procedures.
  • Provide a positive and empathetic customer experience in all interactions.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Fluency in Hindi and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good telephone and communication skills demonstrates self-control and understanding of customer situations.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Internet technologies and network standards.
  • General knowledge of office equipment and use.
  • Flexible and able to work with ambiguity while still adhering to standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications is a plus.
