Description
The role of Technical Issue Resolution Specialist at Siemens Energy, under the supervision of the Head of Product Integrity Europe in Compression, involves taking charge of urgent technical challenges within the organization and at customer sites. Your responsibilities include utilizing your high-level technical proficiency to address technical issues and communicating solutions effectively to non-technical senior management at customer sites. This position offers you the opportunity to actively shape the decarbonization future for industrial customers and contribute significantly to Siemens Energy's sustainable endeavors. In this role, you will play a crucial part in resolving customer Technical Issues (TI) by conducting Root Cause Analysis, addressing technical non-conformance problems like compressor performance issues, and producing detailed RCA reports and management briefings for organizational transparency and knowledge enhancement. Your tasks will involve investigating issues on customer sites, analyzing remote diagnostics, assessing operational challenges on-site, and instigating necessary corrective and preventive actions. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders for swift problem resolution and knowledge sharing across regions will be a key aspect of this role. You will also lead technical aspects of assigned projects, manage customer interactions, and work closely with technical experts from different Product Integrity regions. To excel in this position, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in various technical domains such as rotating equipment design, controls design, compressor testing, and service-related activities. Proficiency in leading Root Cause Analyses, familiarity with methodologies like Fault Tree Analysis and Kepner Tregoe, and a strong command of English to articulate technical information to diverse audiences are essential. Your proven track record in resolving technical challenges within a large organization and your willingness to travel internationally, particularly in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry, will be valuable assets in this role.
