Job Description

What You ll Do :

Summary:

This position is for L2 TAC (Technical Assistance Centre) of HPE Networking for supporting HPE/Juniper s Campus Data-Center products (EX, QFX QFabric) technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate is expected to work in a highly dynamic and technical environment with relentless focus on delivering Remarkable Customer Experience.
Demonstrate ownership of customer reported issues till resolution.
Understand Customer s impact, prioritize and communicate effectively between various stakeholders.
Contribute to New Product/Feature readiness, Knowledge Creation, Quality/Continuous improvement initiatives and Training/Mentoring activities.
Be a Team player, flexible to work on Weekends/Holidays as per the Business requirement.

Mandatory Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and customer handling skills.
Ability to logically troubleshoot complex and high impact problems
Self-learner with appetite for continuous development.
In-depth knowledge of the following:
- Switching Technology [xSTP, VRRP, LACP, Dot1x, COS, QOS]
- IP and related protocols (ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP),
- IP routing protocol (BGP, OSPF, RIP),
Understanding of Multicast related protocol [IGMP,IGMP-snooping, PIM] would be a plus.

What you need to bring:

Preferred Work Experience:

Technical Support experience supporting critical network infrastructures of Enterprise/Telecom or Cloud customers
Troubleshooting complex networking in Routing/Switching domain
Experience in working with Product Development/Engineering team to resolve customer reported issues.
Proven track record of implementing automation technologies.
Network Design and implementation experience in Datacenters would be a plus.

Platform Knowledge:

Juniper (routers, switches), Cisco, Nortel, Huawei, traffic generators (Ixia, Agilent)/ traffic simulators, protocol analyzers, testers etc (not all are required but some of these are good to have).

Preferred Certifications: - CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, JNCIA, JNCIS-M, JNCIP-M, JNCIE-M, CCIE-SP

Additional Skills:

Cloud Architectures, Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, DevOps, Distributed Computing, Microservices Fluency, Full Stack Development, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX)
