Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote assistance channels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software and network, Firewall, Antivirus and other network and software related issues.
- Perform software installations, configurations, and upgrades for solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- Document and track customer reported issues using ticketing systems and follow up until resolution.
- Conduct product training sessions for customers and internal teams as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology standards, networking protocols, and security best practices.
- Configure and maintain Windows-based systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Manage firewall rules and configurations to ensure secure network communication for applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SQL databases, performing backups, optimizations, and data integrity checks.
- Configure and troubleshoot antivirus software to protect systems from malware and security threats.
- Perform network configuration tasks including IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN setup, and routing protocols.
- Configure and troubleshoot port settings to ensure proper communication between devices and systems.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs) in all interactions with customers.
- Candidates with DICOM applications, PACS, HL7, and medical imaging devices Knowledge will be given preference.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience 2-3 years as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
- Candidates with healthcare industry,and DICOM domain knowledge will be given preference.
- Strong understanding of network standards and protocols.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and server environments. 5. Experience with firewall configurations and network security principles.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and query languages (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
- Familiarity with antivirus software and malware protection techniques.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model.
- Experience with port configuration, network segmentation, and VLAN setup.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Certifications such as DICOM, CompTIA Network+, MCSA: Windows Server, or CCNA are a plus.
