Technical Support Associate

The primary purpose of this position is to offer technical support to customers in resolving software and hardware issues promptly and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. As a Technical Support Personnel, you will report to the Technical Support Manager or Senior Technical Support Personnel. Your key responsibilities will include deploying software projects, addressing client queries through phone, email, or chat, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with developers to rectify defects, escalating complex issues as necessary, documenting problems and solutions for future reference, conducting end-user training, maintaining positive customer relationships, and monitoring software performance to recommend enhancements. The working conditions for this role are primarily office-based with occasional travel to customer sites. You should be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, as required. To be considered for this position, you should ideally possess a high school diploma (a degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred), along with a minimum of 3 years of technical support experience. Proficiency in computer systems, Microsoft Excel, Linux, and SQL is essential. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, effective communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies are crucial.
