Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Aruba ClearPass Engineer to design, deploy, and manage ClearPass solutions in multi-vendor environments. The role involves implementing 802.1x authentication, TACACS+, MFA, BYOD, Guest Wireless, and SAML integrations, along with Active Directory and PKI-based certificate management. The candidate will lead Proof of Concept activities, support NOC teams with documentation and RCA submissions, and prepare detailed HLD/LLD solution documents. Aruba certifications (ACCA/ACCP) and knowledge of Aruba switches, wireless, and Central are highly preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage Aruba ClearPass in multi-vendor environments.
Implement and troubleshoot 1x authentication and various EAP methods.
Integrate ClearPass with Active Directory; knowledge of Azure AD and Intune is an added advantage.
Work with PKI architecture, including SCEP, certificate enrolment, and certificate template creation.
Configure and manage TACACS+, MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), and related network authentication mechanisms.
Implement and support BYOD and Guest Wireless services.
Configure and troubleshoot SAML-based authentication integrations.
Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) activities for ClearPass-based deployments.
Provide support and troubleshooting for LAN protocols in relation to ClearPass deployments.
Collaborate with the NOC team for implementation, documentation, and training of new design changes and features.
Assist the support team with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major issues, ensuring submission within SLA (P1/P2 incidents).
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including HLD (High-Level Design), LLD (Low-Level Design), and Solution Documents.
Support audit reviews with relevant technical documentation.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

ACCA or ACCP certifications.
Hands-on experience with Aruba Products such as Switches, Wireless, and Aruba Central.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
