Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor application health, performance, and availability using observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, StackDriver).
  • Proactively identify and address system issues to prevent incidents and downtime.
  • Resolve technical incidents and support production issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes through code/configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand upcoming changes and ensure smooth transitions to Run-the-Bank (RTB) support.
  • Communicate effectively with business users to understand and resolve technical issues.
  • Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance application performance.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual interventions using DevOps tools and scripting.
  • Support audits by providing accurate and timely documentation and evidence.
  • Maintain detailed technical records of incidents, resolutions, and system improvements.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation to ensure 24x7 application support coverage.

Skills Required:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and query optimization.
  • Experience in ETL tools like Informatica or IBM DataStage.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.
  • Proficient in GIT for source control.
  • Ability to debug and enhance C# code within SSIS packages.
  • Experience with cloud environments and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, StackDriver, or Google Cloud Operations Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call support rotations.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with SSAS, Master Data Services (MDS), and Power BI.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Functions.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Understanding of Tableau for reporting and dashboards.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in SQL, DevOps, or Cloud Platforms are a plus.
